Wembley ( Brent ) Lions Club - Brief History

 The formation of Lions Club of Wembley(Brent) was the ambition of Late Jack Fields, a member of our "Mother Club", Harrow. This was fulfilled with the induction of 19 Charter Members on the 6th June 1969. Lion Jack was elected Charter President. Presentation of Charter took place on 7th October 1969 by District Governor Lion Bob Moore. Since our club's formation nearly 40 years ago, we have served our local community in numerous ways. We have also supported our District, Multi district and International organisation continuosly. Wembley(Brent) Lions are based approximately 12 miles North West of London. It is 30 minutes away from Heathrow Airport and home of Famous football stadium at WEMBLEY.
